Katarzyna Glowacka
| | University of IllinoisKatarzyna (Kasia) Glowacka is an assistant professor of biochemistry at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. She is also a project consultant at the University of Illinois. Kasia is an expert in Miscanthus tissue and culture as well as a molecular geneticist and plant physiologist. For ROGUE, she is responsible for Miscanthus transformations. She earned her bachelor's degree in experimental biology from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poland. She then went on to earn her doctorate at the Institute of Plant Genetics, Polish Academy of Science. Her work is published in many peer-reviewed journals, including Science, BMC Genomics, and Annals of Botany.
