Shraddha Maitra
| | University of IllinoisShraddha Maitra is a postdoctoral research associate working for Vijay Singh on the ROGUE project. For ROGUE, Shraddha will be developing high-throughput NMR technology for the quantification and characterization of in-situ lipids in transgenic bioenergy crops and novel bioprocessing methods to enhance the yields of biofuel and high-value byproducts. Shraddha received her bachelor's degree in biotechnology from Indraprastha University in New Delhi, India. She later went on to earn her PhD in biochemical engineering and biotechnology from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi and is now working on her postdoc in bioprocess engineering at the University of Illinois. Shraddha's work has been published in GCB Bioenergy, Biotechnology for Biofuels, and Bioresource Technology.
