Matthew Schneider
| | University of FloridaMatthew Schneider is a graduate assistant at the University of Florida. He uses cutting-edge biotechnology to improve crops. Specifically, for the ROGUE project, Matthew will be transforming sugarcane and energycane with genes for increased oil production—using accelerated and optimized transformation system that will generate higher transformation efficiencies. Mathew earned his bachelor's degree in biology from Florida State University. He is working on his master's degree in agronomy at Florida.
