Ya-Chi Yu

Ya-Chi Yu is a visiting research specialist at the University of Illinois. Ya-Chi studies the functions of sugar transporters in plants. For ROGUE, she finds candidate genes from sugarcane through protoplast isolation and RNA in-situ hybridization. She earned her bachelor's degree in agronomy from National Chung Hsing University and master's degree in horticulture from National Taiwan University.
